RALEIGH, N.C. – RightCount North Carolina issued the following statement today in response to U.S. District Court Judge Richard Myers’ ruling ordering the North Carolina State Board of Elections to certify the 734-vote victory of Democratic Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs. The decision, which comes six months after Election Day and was handed down by a judge appointed by President Donald Trump, rejected all remaining election protests filed by Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin and temporarily stayed the ruling for one week to allow time for appeal.
