Atlanta, Ga. – RightCount Georgia Chair, former State Senator Eric Johnson, released the following statement applauding today’s ruling that confirms the legal requirement for county election boards in Georgia to certify election results. The ruling came in response to claims from Fulton County election board member Julie Adams, who sought to avoid certifying the 2024 presidential primary results due to personal concerns. The judge clearly stated that the law mandates certification by county election boards and rejected Adams’ argument.
